Thanks to Ronan Gately and the masters for putting on a great Masters League event at the track last weekend.

The juvenile All Ireland’s days 3 & 4 ended the enormous juvenile season – My performance of the week, Ewan Kennedy’s win over 1,500.  The Metric Mile:  second only to the Mile in greatest athletic event.

Thanks to Sharon Wilson for the most gruelling season ever.  Rumour has it that there is to be a weekend in the coming months when Sharon isn’t first to arrive and last to leave.  ‘Believe it when I see it.

Centurion Mollie O’Reilly ran two p.b.s in one day – Now at 11.54.

Roisín Treacy is back from the US and winning steeplechases.

Cara Murphy (in UCD colours) had a great new pb in the low hurdles.

Fit4Life Road Show visited the campus and brought a pop-up tent to throw shade at Meet Train Race.
By contrast, Elizabeth Ndudi had to jump in the flogging rain in Luzerne (6th).  Sure she was well used to that from an Irish childhood.

Evelyn Kwik (again, no puns necessary) qualified for the semifinal in her 400 heat at the European u 18s.

Kate Joyce (javelin) arrived to escape the heat of N Carolina (how’s that going?) and competes in the AAI games this weekend.

Work on the new buildings is at snagging stage.  Give us the keys already.

Eimear Maher goes again tonight over 1,500 in Belgium – go girl.

And there’s great interest in Lucy and David’s ‘Practical Clean Sport’ next Wednesday – a must for any aspirants to serious competition.
