Congratulations to Eimear Maher, who ran a massive two seconds PB, lowering the 1500m club record in the process, in an International 1500m in Spain last Saturday.

Finishing in 6th place, she registered a time of 4.06.54.  Eimear has also secured a B standard qualification time for this summer’s European Athletics Championships. 

Not only is this a DSD Club record, it also ranks Eimear 7th on the Irish All-Time performance list. 

Eimear will take her place on the 1500m start line this Friday night at Morton Games, hoping to repeat last years strong performance.
