Congratulations to Eimear Maher, who produced another solid performance on the European circuit in Copenhagen last week. 

Settling in just behind the lead group during the early laps, Eimear moved through the field on the 3rd lap to put herself in a position to challenge at the bell, 

The competition at the front of the race was intense.  With 200m to go Eimear had put herself into a position to attack the leaders but got badly bumped which impacted her positioning.  Showing true fighting spirit Eimear regrouped and attacked again in the home straight and fought her way to a great 3rd place in a time of 4.10.3.  

This run follow closely after a 2nd place finish in Oslo the week before in a time of 4.09. Eimear producing an encouraging consistency in her performances.
