High season.  We hosted a Dublin Graded on Saturday and a Dublin juvenile league on Sunday.  Both were magnificent.

My performance of the week:  Tadhg Ó Baoill winning his 800m in the graded in a 2:12 p.b.

Monday saw an Athletics’ Committee meeting.  I was glad to hear people disagreed agreeably on the foreign based athlete issue.   

Tuesday saw a Board meeting.  Next job for the board will be a multi-year plan.  
There are only ever two questions:  What do we want to do? and how are we going to do it?
Some juveniles are ramping up for next weekend’s nationals.  Others are just hanging on for the ice cream van next week.  (Children.  Only.)

This weekend, Emmet Jennings defends his national 5 mile title.  As usual, if any club wants to win anything at any national championship, they will have to overcome DSD on the way.
