From a simple idea in 1983…
to something far bigger than a race.

✨DSD Athletics Club have been organising and hosting this for over 40 years✨

Back in 1983, we had a simple goal:
👉 Get more women active in sport

9,000 women showed up.
Dublin had never seen anything like it.

We didn’t know it then…
but this would become a movement.

Over 40 years, it grew into:
• 1,000,000+ participants
• Ireland’s largest one-day charity event
• A June tradition for generations

Walkers, joggers, runners—everyone welcome.

This race belongs to the people.

Please volunteer for your club, your facilities - we need everyone on that day. 

The club will be closed to facilitate all to lend their hands.

Every step taken… built something lasting.

Through decades of organising, volunteering,
and reinvesting in sport…

👉 We’ve now delivered a new athletics track
for our club and community.
