Great to see Eimear Maher return to competition in the IUAA relays after her bejewelled track season.

This weekend is Christmas for XC anoraks as we travel to Derry for the Nashers with lots of teams in the famous silver vests.

Intrigued to see English XC champ Niamh Brown sign up for the club during the week.  Also of the Aldershot and District parish, apparently she has Dundrum roots.  Alas, ‘not toeing the line on Sunday.

Dee Walsh’s mission to smarten us up went a step too far this week with the introduction of the DSD snood.  Who knew we needed more kit?  Buy early and often from Club Zap.

Our contractors, ABM (phase 2) and Precision Eng. (phase 3) showed impressive XC spirit, powering on through the sodden Saturdays and freezing Fridays top keep the builds on schedule.  2026 looking marvellous. 

Thanks to DLR for approving a €1,000 grant for volunteer training and development (and thanks to Stephen Judge for applying!).  This will be used to fund coach education – On that subject, great to see Alan Kavanagh’s recent Assistant Coach course well attended and his Level 1 course is in the works.
