In the aftermath of Storm Amy, a giant ash is reposing on the trails – apparently Ash die back had weakened it.  Gerry Dunne is arranging the removal and burial.

The golden hordes of DSD juveniles turned out for league 2 XC last Sunday.  This Sunday is the real stuff.  Per Sharon Wilson: “Let the Championships begin!”

Car park woes on Tuesday – we need a transport link!

The first board meeting of the new season was held on Tuesday – watch out for events we will host like the Goal Mile, M&T XC league (Jan), DSD Throws day (April),  Dublin Graded (June), Juvenile T&F league (June) and DSD games (not sure when). 

We have just short of 1,200 registered members at present.

The first of the new adidas kit has arrived – thanks to Dee Walsh.

Sides and roof are being installed on the indoor straight…The work to plan the fit out starts this month.  Declan Ryan has set the track record for 60m.  It will not be disclosed until after ratification.

The hammer cage is repaired!

Marathon fever is in the air.  Apparently coach Gary Crossan doesn’t believe in tapering and the punishment will continue until morale improves.
Our marvellous masters (or some of them) are in Madeira (fancy) at the European Masters champs starting this weekend.  Watch out for dispatches
