The Masters DSD games last weekend proved there is life after 40.  And 75.  Sport for Life.  Two cheers for Last Lap who came with no sambos.

The event last Sunday for neurodiverse athletes proved there is Sport for All.

The earth moving began in earnest in the 5 acres.  Cue consternation among gym bunnies.  Bear with us bunnies while we navigate a solution.

Lead coaches were appointed by the board:  the dream team for the next two years is Anita White (throws), Lucy Moore (jumps), Ken Kiernan (sprints) and Donal Hennigan (endurance).  John Walsh will take over as head of Juvenile logistics and David Gillick/ Avril Dillon will share the new Performance Pathway role.

The women’s corner had a valuable session on pelvic health – now for men’s health.

Special congrats to Louise King getting her first Irish vest this weekend in Belfast at the combined events.   Could we have another couple of club records from hereself and Lorcan before the season’s out?
