This week reflecting on a marvellous national champs.  My highlight, the battling 4th place finishes of Amy O Donohue and Ella Fennelly in the 15 and 5.  Reminds me of the firstand second rules of XC:  If you can’t be first, be second.  If you can’t be 10th, be 11th.

Also looking back at the national league victories where 60% of the teams comprised members  who came through the DSD juvenile set up.

 

Applications have been received for the four lead coach, pathway coordinator and juvenile lead positions with the intention of having the team in place by 15th September.

Following the tendering process, the board is about to appoint contractors for the Phase III works (Walled Garden and Stableyard etc.)

And the call has gone out for volunteers for the DSD Games (Masters) 30th August.

This weekend we have Andrew Hayes in action in the European u 20 champs. Olive Murphy is one of the coaches in Finland for Ireland also.
