The daisies took over the campus…

Disaster for the endurance squad at the weekend:  Having added the men’s and women’s team All Ireland 5 mile titles to the 5k titles won in April, they have created a monster where they now have to win the All Ireland 10 miles titles (a proper grown up distance).
(Meas mór to our men’s captain Rob Corbally adding another national medal as 4th scorer.)

The juvenile All Irelands threw up medals in quite the variety:  throws, jumps (pole vault!), distance, hurdles, and walks.  Might be our most varied return ever.  7th ranked club overall after 2 days.

6.24 for Elizabeth Ndudi in the Irish vest in Slovenia.  She’ll be up at the campus on Monday evening for a session if anyone wants to see how an international standard long jumper trains.

An epic board meeting on Tuesday.  The blazers are planning for the future and world domination…

A great first week of the DSD summer camps.  No calamaties and lots of fun.  Expect extra pressure on the waiting list with 533 signed up (so far)…

This weekend, the junior and u 23 athletes take the All Ireland stage. Tón le gaoithe I hope.
