🛠️Kevin Byrne, renaissance man, has kindly agreed to take on the role of club quartermaster to get a grip on our ever-growing arsenal.  He is going to do a stock take Friday 27th so please ensure any borrowed kit is in the track stores on that date.

🏃‍♀️🤸🏻‍♂️Part of our mission is to host and promote athletic events – standing in a wet field directing traffic is hard to glamorise but has to be done.  Thank you to the volunteers who made last Saturday’s grown-up meet and Sunday’s small person meet possible.  Sharon Wilson is in the recovery position.

Lorcan Murphy equalled the club high jump record in the rain. 1.95.  It’s the womens’ record though.  He did set a new club century record on Wednesday, 10.46 (mens’ and womens’).

Saturday we host a presentation by Sports Inclusion Disability Ireland on Autism in Sport – part of our commitment in the charter – fully subscribed by the coaches when I last checked.

👦🧒The fun continues with our smallest athletes in the All-Ireland children’s games on Sunday.

🏕️Training for the summer camp team starts Saturday – looks like they will have nearly 500 children signed up for 5 weeks of fun.  Massive thanks to Declan Ryan and Tess Byrne again.
