The Leinster Schools Track & Field Championships took place last weekend over two days in Tullamore, with many fine performances by D.S.D athletes.   Stand out performances came from our high jumpers, following upon our great high jump tradition set by our 2012 Olympian High Jumper Deirdre Ryan, who is also the Irish record holder with a brilliant 1.95 jump. 

🥇First up on Day 1 we had Lauryn Healy winning the Inter Girls High Jump 1.60 and 🥇Day 2 Conn McCluskey just missed the record whilst winning the Junior Boys H.J., with a jump of 1.80. 

🥇Harry O’Meara ran a great race to win the Minor Boys 800m, and 🥇Rachel Lynch impressed  winning the 400m hurdles.  🥈Daniel Conway finished 2nd Senior Boys 110m hurdles and 3rd 400m hurdles.
