✨Much to enjoy at the National indoors where we ended up a close second overall among all clubs.  My highlight, Joe Hastings and Jamie Byrne qualifying in style for the 1500 final.

✨Lowlight was our captain Ciaran Carthy pulling up lame.

✨A couple of hostages in UCD vests would have tipped the balance to make us top club.

✨Afterwards David Bosch was selected for the Euro Indoors.  Our first major championship rep of 2025.

✨Work on clearing Orchard began in earnest.  Big plans.

✨Looking forward to the clean up day tomorrow (today?) to clear more space in the house.  

✨Mini marathon entries go on sale on Monday.  Enter early and often.

✨Coach Alan Kavanagh has taken over coach education (thanks Tess!) and has produced a smashing blueprint already.  

✨Apart from the sand on the track, it's been another great week in Ireland's biggest athletic club.

✨Still working on the gear with the supplier, no these aren’t our new colours but some of you might have seen other teams at the Nationals with similar stripes in their new gear …
