Dear coaches, parents and athletes, on behalf of the club board I write to draw your attention to the red weather warning for Dublin which runs from early morning to midday tomorrow (Friday) morning. For those using facilities tonight (Thursday), we would urge coaches and members to avoid leaving any equipment in places which might cause loss of such equipment in high winds. While the worst of the adverse weather should not affect use of the club facilities tomorrow (Friday), we will need to inspect the impact on the campus, including trails and the house, tomorrow (Friday) when it is safe to undertake same. Therefore, for reasons of personal safety and club liability, no members are to access the club facilities on Friday until an inspection has been undertaken by designated club officials and approval is given for members to access the site. We appreciate that the biggest gathering of athletes in the near future will be on Saturday mornings ordinarily and will try to give as much notice and clarity as possible. Flouting of guidance from the club is not acceptable and may be subject to sanction. Stay safe and let's be careful out there.
