Shane Sheridan - Bronze in 100m M65 at World Masters in Gothenburg, Sweden - Aug 2024. Two National Records in 100m and 200m.

 

At Europeans inTorun, Poland in Mar '24 Shane also won individual Bronze in M65 60m and Team Silver in 4x200m Mixed Relay.

 

Shane also won double Gold in 100m and 200m at British Masters.

 

Jerome Caprice - 2 Silvers at World Masters in M40 10k Road Walk and 5k Track Walk.

 

Adina Gheorghiu (W45) won double Gold in 60m and 200m at European Indoors in Torun, Poland. Adina also won double Gold in 100m and 200m at British Masters.

 

In Jul 2024 Avril Dillon received her Certificate to recognise her W40 World Record in 60m Hurdles.

 

David Connolly, Avril Dillon, Lucy Moore, Ruaidhri Kedney, Claire Bergin, Maria McCambridge, John Menton, Mary Nolan, Dee Walsh and Kevin Byrne have all been involved in coaching DSD athletes during 2024. 

 

At least 4 Masters athletes involved in helping DSD Seniors win medals in National League.

 

Fintan Hourihan (M55) continues to act as Director of Athletics for DSD. Dee Walsh (F60) was elected onto the board as Communications Director.
